About:
I began study at the university of Birmingham in 2022. I progressed through biochemistry degree at honors level where I immersed myself in topics such as cancer, microbial pathogenicity with particular interest to the features of pathogenic proteins. My dissertation focused my sights on structural biology exploring the characterization of the hierarchy of protein structure through native mass spectrometry.
My primary interest within the field lies in using structural techniques to decipher the mechanistic insights of proteins that play important roles in human health. Joining the Jagtap lab will enable me to uncover such queries while gaining valuable lab experience for future use of advanced structural techniques.
